Tennessee Camp places Battleflags on Soldiers Graves

The Myers-Zollicoffer Camp # 1990 has obtained 300 12 x 18 Confederate stick flags to put on Confederate graves in Overton, Pickett and Clay counties in Tennessee. We have some 400 such graves but are only able to identify approximately 300. We hope to do this around the Memorial Holidays.

We will also have a memorial for Pvt. Jason Ramsey, 25th Tennessee Infantry, Co. H, buried in the Corinth Cemetery near Sparta, TN on May 31 at 3:00. There will cannon and musket fired. The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Capt. Sally Tomkins Camp, is expected to also participate in the memorial.
